Will I be told how long a product is expected to be unavailable?

A piece can be unavailable while a material is out of stock or the production queue is full. The product page says so when that happens, and if you write to our Contact page asking about a specific piece we tell you the date we are working towards. We prefer to give you an honest date, even when it is further away than you hoped, rather than take an order we cannot fulfil.
